The guide is designed to increase understanding of GESI dimensions and GESI specific barriers in accessing information and choosing the right information for the right target groups become pre-requisites in ensuring equal opportunities in the first place. Moreover, building resilience and supporting the empowerment of all members of a community requires an active approach to integrating GESI considerations into information products, materials and campaigns more broadly. In doing so, outreach and awareness activities are instrumental to ensure the right message reaches all segments of the community appropriately aiming at achieving behaviour change by tackling root causes of inequalities and exclusion.
