SPC operates like a professional services organisation, is funded following internationally accepted NGO practices
and, as such, requires a robust and a well-structured system for recording and reporting project financials.
SPC does not have robust systems in place to track time, cost, commitments, or spend attributed to the different
stages of our project lifecycle. This results in inaccurate project estimation and the inability to learn from past
projects.
In order to increase SPC's project-management capabilities and improve practices, SPC has identified the need to
introduce a project management system, timesheet system, and associated financial system changes.
