The Improving Key Services to Agriculture (IKSA) project has been designed to enhance the essential
services that support the development of horticulture in the sugarcane belt areas of Fiji. One key
objective of the project is to promote import substitution and exports of fruit and vegetables and this
requires reliable production year round. Off season production can be enhanced through the use of
protected cropping and irrigation.
The aim of this request for proposals is to supply greenhouse
materials in order to establish nurseries and in field greenhouse structures to improve the farmer ability
to protect their crops and achieve competitive yields in order to replace imports and supply crops
throughout the year.
