The Towong Shire Council is seeking a suitably qualified contractor to provide services required for demolition to spoil, design/supply and installation of the new Walwa all ages playground.
This is to replace an existing playground that was installed back in 1998 as part of Towong Shires playground renewal program.
Walwa is a small town located approximately 49km west of Corryong. The playground is located on Murray River Road, next door to the post office as well as the nearby Walwa General Store and Hotel. The playground land forms part of an existing public open space that includes public toilets and seating areas.
We have consulted with the Community who are eager to see a new all ages playground within their township.
