Towong Shire Council is seeking DoT prequalified contractors for the Lake Road / Murray Valley Highway Intersection – Blackspot Project (Contract No. 2025/26-021).
The works include:
Supply and installation of solar-powered Vehicle Activated Signage (VAS) on the Murray Valley Highway.
Installation of radar sensors on Lake Road to activate the VAS.
Demolition and replacement of guardrails, including TL-3 compliant terminals.
Installation of new static traffic signage in accordance with AS1742.2 and VicRoads supplements.
Associated earthworks, drainage, and line marking in compliance with DTP standards.
This project is funded through the Black Spot Funding Program to improve safety and reduce crash risk at the intersection.
All works must comply with endorsed design drawings, VicRoads / DTP specifications, and relevant Australian Standards.
Tender submissions close at 5:00 PM, Wednesday 12 November 2025 and must be lodged via www.tenders.net
