Towong Shire Council is seeking quotations from suitably qualified contractors for the construction of the second stage of a footpath connecting the existing sealed path to the Towong Bridge alongside Brooke Street. This footpath will be constructed as per the IDM SD 205 using 25 MPa concrete with SL72 mesh and a 125mm thickness. The footpath will extend from CH 0 to CH 200 to ensure a continuous connection to Towong Bridge. It will involve cutting through approximately a 2m high bank and following along Brooke Street with a gradient of 1 in 20.
