Expressions of Interest are requested from experienced public art sculptors to:
1. Liaise with major stakeholders in determining final details and layout of four tree trunk sculptures with a military services theme, and documenting these details for approval
2. Sculpt the four tree trunk sculptures and prepare them for storage.
The sculptures will be constructed from pine tree trunks from a commemorative tree avenue at Tintaldra. The avenue was severely damaged as a result of the 2019-20 bushfires and subsequently felled. Tintaldra lies 22 km north-east of Corryong in North East Victoria. It is anticipated that the sculptures will take 12-18 months to dry before final installation at Tintaldra.
