In the aftermath of the Black Summer bushfires, Council requires a review of the Shire’s economic opportunities. At the completion of the review, the successful proponent will deliver three key documents:
• Towong Shire Economic Development Strategy 2021 – 2025
• Towong Shire Destination Management Plan 2021 – 2025
• Towong Shire Investment Prospectus
In preparing the Economic Development Strategy, Tourism is anticipated to be identified as a significant priority, therefore the need for a separate document has been recognised. All three document are required to informed by current research and data.
