Towong Shire Council (TSC) is seeking quotations from suitably qualified and experienced skatepark maintenance contractors to submit quotations for the repair and maintenance of skatepark elements, including ramps, joints, and surfaces for the Tallangatta Skate Park, located at Tallangatta.
Concrete Repair and Restoration:
1. Crack Repair: Repair all visible cracks in the concrete floor using appropriate concrete repair materials and techniques to ensure a smooth and safe riding surface.
2. Joint Sealant Replacement: Remove the existing sealant and replace a new sealant in compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations.
3. Surface Levelling: Address the unevenness of the skatepark surface by levelling it with concrete resurface techniques, ensuring a consistent and safe riding experience.
Surface Finishing:
1. Concrete Polishing: Perform concrete polishing to enhance the durability and aesthetics of the skatepark surface, creating a smooth, high-traction finish for skateboarders.
2. Epoxy Injection: Use epoxy injection to reinforce and strengthen any structurally compromised areas of the concrete, ensuring long-term structural integrity.
