The objective of this project is to develop a comprehensive plan for the internal upgrade of the Corryong Library. This plan will involve an analysis of the existing Corryong Library Services and propose, new creative solutions to upgrade permanent fixtures and fittings to deliver an innovative space that supports the varied programming and learning activities to improve the facilities community access (refer to Appendix B internal Library images).
1.4. Deliverables
The project and resulting plan must include:
Data Collection and Analysis:
1. Conduct on-site visits to assess the current infrastructure limitations and space availability at Corryong Library.
Needs Assessment
2. Identify the current and future demand for Library Services in Corryong.
3. Evaluate the existing infrastructure limitations, including space constraints, accessibility, and safety concerns.
4. Assess the potential impact of population growth and demographic changes on Library services.
Infrastructure Proposal:
5. Develop a detailed proposal for internal upgrade requirements at Corryong Library. This should include recommendations for building fixtures and fittings, internal renovations, and redesign of space usage.
6. Ensure that proposed upgrade solutions comply with local regulations and safety standards.
7. Cost estimate plan.
Accessibility and Inclusivity:
8. valuate the accessibility of the Corryong Library.
9. Propose modifications or enhancements to existing infrastructure to ensure inclusivity for the community members with diverse backgrounds and abilities.
Community Engagement:
10. Organise community meetings or surveys to gather input from the community and stakeholders service needs and preferences.
11. Incorporate community feedback into the plan to align with the community's aspirations and expectations.
Documentation and Reporting:
12. prepare a detailed report outlining the methodology, data analysis, findings and proposed upgrade solutions.
