Whiteley’s Pit is a Council operated gravel quarry located at 484 Cudgewa North Road, Cudgewa, Victoria. It located on private property and Council is the nominated responsible party under a Victorian State Government Works Authority. The pit has an allowable extraction area of 81.3 hectares and has no depth limitation. Material from the pit is used by Council for road construction and re-sheeting purposes.
Quotations are sought for the extraction and crushing of rock over an area of approx. 8770m2 indicated on Attachment 1 – Map. The estimated volume of material is 11,000m3 and with an equivalent tonnage based on a 1.6 conversion rate, 17,600 tonnes.
