Towong Shire Council is seeking quotations from suitably experienced and qualified contractors to undertake the drilling, installation and commissioning of four groundwater monitoring bores at the Corryong Landfill.
Towong Shire Council operates an unlicensed landfill on Sugarloaf Rd, Corryong. Council is currently in the process of preparing a Works Approval Application (WAA) to extend the area of filling at the site. During this process, EPA have indicated that additional information on the ground water situation will be required to progress the application.
Accordingly, Council are now seeking to install an additional four bores on the site directly below and above the existing and future areas of landfilling to better inform the hydrogeological assessment for the WAA.
This Request for Quote (RFQ) contains a specification for the siting, depth, composition, installation and development of the bores required.
