Towong Shire Council has received funding to improve traffic safety at the Lake Road / MVH Intersection, at Old Tallangatta.
For this project, Towong Shire Council is seeking experienced contractors to:
- Undertake a feature and level survey of the proposed Intersection (as per the attached plan)
- Undertake a Preliminary Issue and a Construction Issue design of the Lake Road / MVH Intersection to incorporate:
o Vehicle Activated Signs (VAS) treatment
o Guard Rail / G.R.E.A.T treatment on the existing guard rails
o Relevant Static Signs (supply, installation, and replacement), and sign placement
o Provisional works to supply and replace the existing guard rails as required
o Including other relevant treatment required
Please note:
VicRoads pre-qualified Contractors, are required to undertake this design.
Contractors are required to provide an estimated timeframe of works, with their submission.
This Request for Quotation is released on 22 December 2022, with submissions lodged by the closing date (23 January 2023, by 12:00pm).
