The Bethanga Recreation Reserve is home to a number of community sport and recreation activities, and community events, including cricket, tennis, equestrian, “show and shine” car and motorcycle events, walking groups, and more. The Reserve facilities, as identified in the Recreation Reserve Masterplan, are in poor condition and are in need of progressively being enhanced or established to serve the interest of all participants.
Council has a budget allocation to conduct a comprehensive community engagement and Multi-Purpose Facility Design and Documentation project to ensure the project is “shovel ready” for grant applications and construction. The Multi-Purpose facility will be the principal facility to support all activities and user groups.
