Western Downs Regional Council (WDRC) is commencing a three-year water security improvement project which will reliably increase existing drinking water supply by 2.2 ML/day and replace the failing existing 350mm internal diameter drinking water supply pipe between the Water Treatment Plant and the Edward St Reservoirs.
Stage 1 of the project will replace the existing trunk main between the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and Watt St with a DN450HDPESDR11PN16 pipe and constructing a DN180PPR PN16 pipe for the raw bore water supply either in the same trench or separate trenches between these locations.
WDRC seeks an experienced water contractor to undertake the design and construction works in logical steps to minimise any disruption to the environment, public utility providers, and the community.
