Council is expecting an increase in development assessment activity and involved in other project work and is seeking services to assist the organisation to fulfil its statutory responsibilities under the Planning Act 2016.
The Consulting Planner will support Council in its role as Assessment Manager by managing the assessment and workflow of development applications in accordance with the provisions of the Development Assessment Rules.
The period of engagement is expected to commence from August 2023 to 30 June 2024, with an option for extension on a month to month basis over a period of one year to be considered and agreed upon between both parties.
