Background:
The Chinchilla Recreation Grounds are used for many activities, in particular the local Cricket and Soccer clubs use the field for night games. The current lighting system is aged and failing and are currently operating at approximately 50 per cent.
The light provided by the existing lights do not meet the guidelines for current field usage, a review has been undertaken and a draft design completed to bring the switchboard and lighting up to standard.
The scope of works includes the supply, delivery, management, installation, testing/commissioning of the following:
• Removal of existing lights at the chinchilla recreation grounds.
• Supply and install new LED lighting as per Halliday Lighting Australia Pty Ltd draft design.
• Check height and condition of existing steel lighting towers to ensure suitable for reuse.
• New Main Switch Board
• New property pole
