T25/26 - FRRE FRE 03 & 06 - Design & Construct CBD Transit Centre & Snow St Pump Stations
The Snow St pump station will address reliability and operational resilience of Lismore’s flood infrastructure. The Snow St new pump station will improve road inundation in the Industrial Estate and along Three Chain Road. The new pump station and storm water upgrades will provide safer and reliable access to key road networks.
The Contractor shall be the Principal Contractor for all design and construction related to the services and works. The Contractor is responsible for all design investigations and detail design elements to achieve Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings and reports. The Contractor shall be responsible for all construction activities as per the IFC drawings and reports.
The Transit Centre Pump Station Upgrade will address the reliability and operational resilience of Lismore’s Flood infrastructure. This upgrade will provide safer and more reliable access to the critical infrastructure which allows the levee pumps to operate for as long as possible during and after a flood event. The Contractor shall be the Principal Contractor for all design and construction related to the services and works for CBD Transit Centre pump station. The Contractor is responsible for all design investigations and detail design elements to achieve Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings and reports.
The Contractor shall be responsible for all construction activities as per the IFC drawings and reports.

The Flood Restoration Portfolio (FRP) is focused on enhancing the flood resilience of Lismore, by building new, restoring and upgrading the existing flood infrastructure such as flood pumps, flood gates and urban stormwater channels used to expedite the removal of stormwater during flood events.
Through the program, Lismore City Council are boosting the pumping capacity and reliability of Lismore’s levee system, which will allow us to keep the community evacuation routes open as long as possible, whilst limiting stormwater damage during events where floodgates are closed.
