Mullumbimby Community Hall Refurbishment and Alterations
Demolition of the ground floor slab. New footings and posts to support the lowering of the first floor. Refurbishment of the internal layout of the hall including new kitchen and new accessible toilets.
Construction of an access ramp and new stairs.
The Mullumbimby Community Hall was damaged in the 2022 flood. After many previous floods, the ground floor will be demolished and the first floor lowered to above the 1/100-year flood level, making the building a single level.
This also fits into the accessibility of the building which will now have a new accessible ramp and stairs.
