2025-27 - Flooded Road Warning System - Pinnacle Road Forbes
Council is seeking quotations from suitably qualified and experienced parties for the design and installation of a flood warning system at Pinnacle Road in Forbes, NSW. Council requires the project to be complete by July 2026.
This system should consist of:
- A water depth sensor at the causeway approximately 100 metres north of Palazzis Road on Pinnacle Road (-33.628405, 147.982512).
- An automated road close sign located just north of Quirks Drabsch Road on Pinnacle Road (-33.613351, 147.976654).
- An automated road close sign located just south of Palazzis Road on Pinnacle Road (-33.629297, 147.982845).
- Automatic road closed ahead signs located at:
The intersection of Pinnacle Road and Wirrinya Road (-33.553544, 147.937848)
The intersection of Pinnacle Road Gap Road/Mortray Road at the Weddin Shire Boundary (-33.708281, 148.002279).
