T25/19. FRRB PVE 00222 & 00224 - Wyrallah Rd & Coraki Rd Pavement Restoration Works.
The objective of the project is to deliver the construction-only phase of pavement restoration works on flood-affected sections of Wyrallah Road and Coraki Road within Lismore LGA. Key outcomes include:
1) Restoration of damaged pavement sections to pre-disaster condition, with an expected asset life of at least 20 years.
2) Full compliance with the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) 2018 and NSW Essential Public Asset Restoration Guidelines (2018).
3) Delivery of high-quality construction outcomes that meet all relevant specifications and standards.
4) Compliance with all applicable Work Health and Safety legislation and environmental requirements.
5) Completion of the works efficiently, professionally, and cost-effectively, within the agreed program.
6) Ongoing stakeholder engagement to ensure value-for-money outcomes and clear communication with Council and the community.
The works are divided into two (2) road packages:
Package A: Wyrallah Road
Package B: Coraki Road
Tenderers may submit pricing for either or both packages. Council may award contracts to separate Tenderers or a single Tenderer for both Packages.
The Principal has completed all relevant design work. This GC21 contract is focused solely on the efficient and compliant execution of the approved civil scope of works. The Scope of Works (SOW) outlines general works applicable to all the road sections.
The Packages involves remediation of 22 sections on Wyrallah Road and 17 sections on Coraki Road. Several road segments have additional scope to supply and install concrete pipe and headwall culverts.
There are 10 additional scope segments to be completed as ‘Heavy patching’. They are typically One Lane segments and are not included in the drawing set. They are included in the Pricing Schedule with a segment number.
The road works scope for this project is not continuous chainage. It is divided into segments. Each segment may have different design criteria, specification, scope and associated construction activities and considerations. The Contractor is to identify and allow for these costs in their response.
Whilst the pavement works appear typical and repetitive, Tenderers are asked to respond in detail with their submission for price breakdown and scheduling.
