RFT-6 - Buildings & Aquatic Centres, Land Improvements Asset Condition Survey & Revaluation
Inner West Council is seeking the services of a suitably qualified and experienced organisation to provide a lump sum cost to:
• Undertake a comprehensive condition audit of Council’s buildings, aquatic centres, a leachate treatment plant and related assets and building site improvements.
• Provide comprehensive re-valuations of Council’s building, land improvement and operational land assets, including Insurance Valuations for buildings and aquatic centres.
• Develop and document capital renewal and maintenance programs.
The objective of the audit is to assess the current asset condition by the fifteen (15) building components listed in the Specification section, add, verify, or correct where applicable the asset details and provide asset data and spatial layers for the land improvement assets. The Asset valuations must comply with the Accounting Standard: AASB 116 - Property, Plant & Equipment and AASB 13 Fair Value Measurement:
• The Australian Accounting Standards Board AASB 13, “Fair Value Measurement”;
• The Australian Accounting Standards Board AASB 116, “Property, Plant and Equipment”;
• Guidance notes on Asset Valuation for Financial Reporting, issued by IPWEA.
