RFT-MCC-102442-25-00027 - Construction - Blackhead Road Footpath, The Boulevard to Diamond Beach Rd, Stages 3 & 4
Council has received funding for the design and construction of a pedestrian pathway, 2m wide, along Blackhead Road, from The Boulevard to Diamond Beach Rd, Hallidays Point, including 2 FRP Boardwalk structures. This project was split into 4 stages to manage the complexities and constraints of the detailed planning, design and construction of the works. Council has recently completed Stages 1 and 2 of the works, and this RFT is for the construction of the connecting segments of Stages 3 and 4.
The objective of this project is to complete the construction of the 2m wide pathway and FRP boardwalks along the northern side of Blackhead Road, linking The Boulevard to Diamond Beach Rd, Hallidays Point. Council is seeking to complete the works in timely and cost effective manner, having due regard for safety, quality and the environment.
