Call for artworks by refugee artists
The Principal are looking for artworks by an individual or group of artists with lived experience as refugees or seeking asylum.
Purpose of collection: To lodge an expression of interest for original artwork by refugee artists (banners and signage).
City of Sydney invites artists to submit their ideas for display on street banners and digital advertising screens. Selected artists will receive $9,500.
Artworks must respond to the theme ‘Refugees and people seeking asylum are welcome in our city’.
This is a fantastic opportunity to see your work in public spaces.
