Expressions of Interest open for food and coffee vendors at Burdekin’s
Burdekin Shire Council is again excited to be part of this year’s Garage Sale Trail hosting Burdekin’s Biggest Garage Sale at the Ayr Show Grounds Hall.
The event will take place across two weekends, on Saturday 8 and Saturday 15 November 2025 from 8:00am - 12:00pm.
As part of this event, Council is seeking expressions of interest from food and coffee vendors to attend on one or both sale days.
This is a great opportunity for local vendors or supporting clubs to support a community-driven initiative while providing food and refreshments to event attendees.
Mayor Pierina Dalle Cort said the Garage Sale Trail draws significant community interest, making it an ideal venue for vendors to showcase their offerings or sporting clubs to raise money for their organisation.
"This event is not just about sustainability and reducing waste; it’s also a great chance for local food and beverage businesses and sporting organisations to engage with the community and contribute to a lively, enjoyable atmosphere,” Mayor Dalle Cort said.
“We look forward to welcoming vendors and clubs who can help make the event even more successful."
