2025_24 - MICC Water Mains Network Reconfiguration Project
Mount Isa City Council (MICC) is requesting tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to undertake construction of the Water Mains Network Reconfiguration project.
The Water Mains Network reconfiguration project aims to improve the water supply in Mount Isa by providing consistent pressure and better drinking water quality by removing interconnections from the trunk supply and providing dedicated inlet/outlet points to the reticulation supply. It is also part of the scheme reduce failures in the supply system and improve operability of the city’s supply network.
The site covers the area in the layout drawings and generally consists of in-ground pipework in road reserves or public land. Some areas are subject to external approvals from TMR and Queensland rail, which have attached to them certain requirements for working within these areas.
