Christmas Extravaganza organisers looking for business supporters
Douglas Shire Council, in partnership with Mossman Support Services Youth Centre and the Tin Shed, is calling on local businesses to help bring festive cheer to the community by sponsoring the highly-anticipated Christmas Extravaganza at the Mossman Showgrounds on Friday, 5 December.
The event will feature the magic of “Light up the Park,” Carols by Candlelight, market stalls, amusements, food trucks, and a spectacular fireworks finale. Santa Claus will be arriving in style by helicopter with Nautilus Aviation.
To ensure the event remains free and accessible to all, Council is inviting businesses to contribute sponsorship to help cover costs for rides and entertainment. Sponsorship levels include:
• Gold – $1000
• Silver – $500
• Bronze – $250
Sponsors will receive special mentions and promotional opportunities as part of the event.
Douglas Shire Mayor Lisa Scomazzon said the support of local businesses would play a vital role in bringing the Christmas Extravaganza to life.
