2025_28 - MICC Gliderport Road Infrastructure Construction
Mount Isa City Council (MICC) invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to undertake the Gliderport Road Construction project. The Works comprise the supply and installation of all materials and activities necessary to deliver the stormwater drainage, road formation and pavement, surfacing, road furniture, and associated lighting, in accordance with the design drawings and specifications issued with this Request for Tender.
Gliderport Road will not only alleviate existing congestion from Healy Heights previous development, but it will also provide the infrastructure for the future development site assisting government to alleviate future housing demands.
Contractors are required to adhere to the Mount Isa City Council Engineering Document Control Procedure for the Gliderport Road Construction Works, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, protocols, and the issued design drawings/specifications. RPEQ-certified as constructed documentation must be provided upon project completion. Copies of this procedure and the associated templates will be provided by Council’s Technical Services section.
