Moura Pool Plant Room Roof Replacement
Town/Area:
Davey Street, Moura QLD 4718
Scope:
Banana Shire Council is seeking to engage a contractor to remove and replace the existing roof and guttering from the Moura Pool plant room that has severe damage due to chemical exposure. The electrical wires will have already been removed by a different contractor.
The current roof and areas that already have a ceiling will need to be removed. The roof will then need to be replaced with 75mm Solar Span or equivalent product for the entirety of the roof and guttering and flashings installed. Council is open to alternative products that are suitable for protections and use in a high chemical environment. Attachments are into hardwood bolted to Bessa brick walls. Please refer to pictures.
Four (4) whirly birds are to be installed, with flashing installed according on the roof and ceiling.
The original drawings are attached via link provided for reference. The roof space is approximately 83m2, broken into several different areas.
The plant room will be in use while constructions are underway.
The contractor will be responsible for lodging, paying and gaining approval for the building application (including Form 15 for engineering).
Installation will need to be planned around the electrician removing and replacing the wiring etc.
Council encourages contractors to organise a site inspection with Council prior to submitting a quotation.
The contractor is to supply all materials, equipment and tools necessary to complete the task.
