Community Grants
Banana Shire Council's Community Grants Program is now accepting applications for the January 2026 funding round. Not-for-profit community groups are encouraged to apply for financial support to deliver projects and events that benefit the Shire.
Funding Available
Up to $5,000 for First-Time Events
Up to $1,700 for Recurring Events
Up to $2,500 for Community Projects
Eligible Event Expenses: Venue and equipment hire (stages, marquees, toilets, sound systems), performers, MCs, kids' entertainment, decorations and clean-up costs.
Projects: Equipment purchases and upgrades to existing community facilities.
