RFT000025 - Backflow Prevention Device Installation (AC057678)
Alexandrina Council invites Tenders to supply and install backflow prevention devices at 18 x properties located across the Alexandrina Council District.
Council requires these to be installed at the sites by a licensed plumber who will assess each site, install and commission the device and complete all requirements needed by Council and the (OTR) Office of the Technical Regulator.
Works include:
• site inspection, assessments & site work
• all plumbing services, including earthworks and in-ground pits as necessary
• all requirements for Office of the Technical Regulator (OTR) certification
• waste removal
• as-built site drawings with valve locations identified
• provide photographic record, all OTR approvals and plumbing compliance certificates at completion.
It is the responsibility of the Tenderer to comply with relevant WHS legislation, OTR requirements, relevant codes of practice, and Australian standards.
The Tenderer shall provide the Services in accordance with the Specifications contained within the documentation, and Council will enter into an Agreement for Services with the successful Tenderer.
