Calling Local Photographers to Capture Port Pirie’s Youth-Led Festival
Port Pirie Regional Council is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from photographers to capture Our Youth / Our Festival, an exciting new youth-led celebration to be held on Saturday 29 November 2025 at the Solomontown Beach Foreshore from 3:00 pm to 9:30 pm.
Designed and driven by students from John Pirie Secondary School, Our Youth / Our Festival will showcase the imagination, leadership, and energy of young people across the Port Pirie region.
The event will feature live music, creative workshops, youth-designed games, food and market stalls, water play, art installations and performances – all shaped by students’ ideas and passions.
The selected photographer will work alongside Council and the student organisers to document the day – capturing the excitement, faces, and atmosphere of this milestone community event. The resulting images will be used to celebrate the success of the festival across Council’s publications, social media and future promotional materials.
Applicants must hold a current ABN, Public Liability Insurance and a Working With Children Check valid in South Australia.
