Seeking artists for public art
The City of Marion is calling for expressions of interest (EOI) from experienced public artists to create artwork for Marion Basketball Stadium redevelopment. Council seeks to engage a South Australian based artist / artist team to develop a sculptural pin-fixed façade artwork with a potential budget of $65,000 - $80,000. Submissions are sought from artists who have strong demonstrated experience working in the public realm.

Up to three artists shortlisted to concept design stage: early December 2025
Concept Design Stage 2: December 2025 – January 2026
Design Development Stage 3: February - March 2026
Extended Hold Point: April 2026 – May 2027
Commission Stage 4: From May 2027
Fabrication and Installation: December 2027 – January 2028
